The XBR95 is our top of the line semi-recumbent bike. It offers all of the conveniences of theXBR25 and options of the XBR55, along with two additional programs, a heavier flywheel, 40 levels of resistance, and no need for electricity.
This integrates cardiovascular, strength, and rest intervals all into one program. The message center on the LCD screen prompts you when to perform each activity.
If you are on a diet that counts calories, this program can really be beneficial. Simply enter the amount of calories you would like to burn and your max speed and incline and the program will calculate the amount of time necessary to achieve this.
It’s important to understand which muscle groups are gaining the most benefit during your workout. On our fitness bikes, you will be using your glute (bottom), hamstring (back of your thigh), quad (thigh), and calf muscles.
There is a bar graph integrated into the console that lets you know where your heart rate is in relation to projected maximum (calculated when you enter your age in the programming section of each program).
A heavy duty 30 lb. flywheel results in more inertia (Revolutions Per Minute & Watt output).
This unit uses a generator to power the console. Therefore there is no need for an electrical hookup.
